A conceptual redesign for the 2026 remaster of Plantasia by Mort Garson. Plantasia is an album dedicated to organic plant life, composed of synthetic sounds. Photocollage is used to communicate this unique juxtaposition and the whimsical nature of the album, blending cut-out botanical textures with retro-futuristic elements inspired by the album's use of early synthesizer music. Organic elements contrast geometric grids, retro technology, and dreamy gradients, creating visual harmony between nature and machine. The typography draws from 1970s experimental design, incorporating soft, rounded letterforms that feel timeless. The system seamlessly unifies these elements, reimagining Plantasia for a contemporary audience while preserving its playful spirit.
